Francia Raisa

Raisa began taking acting roles during her sophomore year of high school. She began acting in print ads, as well as appearing in commercials. She was guest-starring in American Family: Journey of Dreams as well as Over There. Raisa was in Lil' Romeo's music clip "My Girlfriend" in the role of Tamy from 2004 and also in the music video for Iyaz's "So Large". One month into her graduation, she landed one of her first leading roles with Hayden Pnettiere in Bring It On: All or Nothing. Alexandra Delgado co-starred with Isabel in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules. She also played on The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice. From July 2008 to when the series ended ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager which ended in June of 2013, she portrayed the role of Adrian Lee. In 2009, Raisa appeared on USA Network's TV series In Plain Sight and co-starred in a short film directed by David Henrie, titled Boo which was broadcast on YouTube. In 2013, Raisa played a role in the christmas-themed flick Christmas Bounty alongside Mike "The Miz" Mizanin. Raisa was in the movie on August 12, 2012. In the years 2018 to 2022, Raisa appeared on the Freeform series Grown-ish. Executive produced by Blackish's creator Kenya Barris. She was a part of the show's first four seasons, and then stepping down towards the end of The fourth season. In addition, she starred on the 2018 film on television by Freeform, Life-Size 2, opposite Tyra Banks. Raisa's role in this spin-off How I Met Your Mother series How I Met Your Father was officially announced by Hulu on the 18th of January 2022.
